Come to this weekend of traditional square dancing, calling workshops, and old-time music in the mountains of western North Carolina. For callers, dancers, and old-time musicians of all levels. The weekend activities will be held on the campus of Warren Wilson College, and is sponsored by The Swannanoa Gathering.

If you are a veteran square caller, we invite you to join this "think tank" of square dance callers; share your years of wisdom, discuss dance issues, exchange ideas, charge your batteries, and help keep the tradition alive. Do you have a favorite square dance topic that you'd like to offer? Let us know. Do you have old/rare square dance books? Bring 'em to share!

If you are a novice square caller, expand your repertoire, skills, and knowledge.

If you are a contra dance caller, but would like to begin to learn how to call squares, this is a unique opportunity to learn from some of the best and most-experienced traditional square callers in the country.

If you are a dancer, come dance every kind of square imaginable, both during the workshops and in the evenings.

If you are an old-time musician, come for a weekend of music. Learn how to become a better dance musician. Opportunities for jamming as well as playing for dances.
